A Fashionable Funeral

I went home a month or so ago for my step-granny Kitty's funeral and found my Mom wearing the cutest pair of polka dot tights underneath her black tweed skirt-suit. (Kitty would appreciate this post, she was a woman of unabashed humour and style).

I immediately fell in love with Mom's pretty legwear and knew I had to get myself a pair. That evening I came home and checked the latest of the Paris collections showcased online. Pictures of Balenciaga AW09 were put up on Style that very day and before me in all their glory, were the polka dot tights.

My Mom was pretty excited to see that the pair she had bought for €4.00 were fresh off the Paris runways.
