I'm currently obsessing over the Chanel booties that have been spotted daintily adorning the feet of both Jane from Sea of Shoes (top picture) and Alexa Chung at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards 2009 (bottom picture).
Even though they are almost sickly sweet, there is something sharp and gothic about them. They make me think of a gothic Lolita... and that's never a bad thing.
Currently listening to 'I've Seen That Face Before' by Grace Jones.

Oh, that's not fair. Those are fantastic!
I still covet a pair of Chanel heels I "met" 7 or 8 years ago. I fondled them lovingly during a trip to Bergdorf's and returned them to the shelf, never to see them again.
A fashion tragedy for sure.
